There is an article about the Imaginary collective in the newest issue of Boston Art Review which can be purchased here.

Over the last year I have joined and participate in a show with The Imaginary Collective. The Imaginary Collective only exhibits art by secretly occupying undisclosed spaces where we do not have permission to show. We are imaginary because to be real is to be co-opted or crushed by the state. We believe in the anarchist maxim, "act as if you are already free.”
.
Other members of the collective who participated in this first show include: Jea Alford (@jeaalford), Renz Baluyot (@renz.baluyot), Rachel Deane (@rachelkdeane), Danielle Galietti (@daniellegaliettiartist), Cody Justus (@cody.justus), Rudolf Lingens (@rudolf_lingens_), Janet Loren Hill (@janetlorenhill), Alejandro Macias (@alex.macias.art), and Sabato Visconti (@sabatobox).

Our first exhibition, entitled Storage Space, occurred earlier this year inside a rented storage unit in an undisclosed location. Unbeknownst to the rental company that owns the space, the Imaginary Collective held a month-long exhibition in which we discreetly installed, performed, recorded, and projected work for the show. My contribution to the show consisted of an instillation titled “Day Dreaming”. See all images and videos of the show at imaginarycollective.com
